Andrew Page Ltd., one of the UK’s fastest-growing motor factors, has launched a new online facility that enables customers to source technical information on specific vehicle parts.
The Andrew Page Technical Resource Library was set up so that customers can source technical information relating to specific part numbers and it now contains over 500 technical bulletins and 100 generic bulletins, all of which can be downloaded free-of-charge.
Mark Roberts, Managing Director of Andrew Page, said: “Many of our customers enquired about this kind of information, but did not know if it was available or where they could get hold of it. It was for this reason that we made the decision to create a free ‘technical library’, through which customers could log in and access the full range of bulletins whether it be part-specific or just to browse available information.”
The bulletins consist of a range of technical information, such as fitting instructions and part modification, and are designed to keep customers informed and up-to-date on products available through Andrew Page Ltd. Bulletins are provided by the parts manufacturers and suppliers and are then uploaded to the library as they arrive. Bulletins currently include those from Blue Print, Febi, LUK, NGK, Lesjofors, Pierburg, SKF, TRW, BTN Turbo and BG Automotive.
Andrew Page, which now consists of 56 UK branches, has one of the widest ranges of parts and components in the country with a stockholding of over £30 million. The new Technical Resource Library, which has its own dedicated web page, already has over 1,000 registered members despite only going live in March 2011.
